Owl walk (short)

Our short owl walks involve a trip to the local woods with one of our owls. The walk lasts approximately one a half hours, and you’ll enjoy seeing our birds flying and behaving in an old, established woodland. As part of the walk you will handle and fly the owl. Afterwards, you can enjoy a flying display back at the centre, all included as part of the day.

The minimum age to take part is 12 years old. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult spectator.
Participants must be physically able as the ground in the woods is uneven.
All participants must dress for outdoor weather conditions.
Spectators on the walk are welcome, though there will be a small additional cost. Prior booking is required for all our Owl walks, as the birds need to be carefully prepared and rotated for rest periods throughout the year.
