School visits

At World of Wings, education about birds of prey and the natural world is very important to us. Part of our role is to inform and explain the importance of raptors around the world. To that end, our talks during school visits offer a blend of fun facts and education. We offer school visits at the Centre where a ‘Falconers Tour’ can be arranged. This is a personalised guided tour around a selection of birds by one of our staff falconers. With a little careful timing, after the tour the school group can stay for the 12pm flying demonstration to see our birds in action!

If you prefer, we can also visit your local school or nursery with a selection of our birds. Educational talks can be tailored to the age group or any related topics that students might be studying.
