You really can’t beat seeing an owl in its natural habitat – in the dark. This winter you’ll have the chance to see a selection of our owls flying at night (with a little bit of a light show from us to help us all enjoy the spectacle).

Come and join us for a magical evening event focussed on the most famous of the nocturnal hunters… the owls! The evening will kick off at 6pm with soup, a roll and a hot drink. Once sufficiently warmed up, you will head to our flying field which will be partially illuminated. Then sit back and watch some of our beautiful owls flying silently in the dark. It is a completely different way to experience these very special birds.

Once the demonstration is finished there will be an opportunity to hold an owl yourself and get a close look at those eyes and appreciate the downy feathers that make them so quiet in flight. You’d best set your camera settings to ‘night time’ though!
