Our one-on-one introduction to falconry is designed for people who are interested in taking up falconry in Scotland. Although you might have been thinking about becoming a falconer for years, the prospect of taking on a bird can be daunting. There’s only so much you can learn from books and social media – and you still worry if the advice is correct. If  those sort of concerns sound familiar to you, then this is your course.

Our course and the expert tuition covers all the basics and much more besides. From bird suitability, housing, equipment making, health, welfare, diet and training our falconry tuition is extensive. The falconry course is given by our falconers who have decades of experience between them. More importantly though, our falconers have worked with a wide variety of species, from falcons to hawks, buzzards, eagles and owls.

We understand that every species is different and what works for one bird type won’t work always work with another.
